Wolfgang Jellinghaus was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany. His father was also a guitar maker, and he grew up with guitars at an early age. Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been living and working in China for several years now, where he builds handmade guitars of outstanding quality in small manufacturing.

The magnificent guitar created by Wolfgang Jellinghaus is based on the Manuel Ramirez model from 1912 played by renowned classical guitarist Andres Segovia. Pao Ferro is used to making the back and sides, and spruce, which is famed for its rich, warm tone, is used to make the soundboard. The guitar's remarkable sound quality and aesthetic appeal are enhanced by the French polished soundboard and lacquered back and sides.
