A PERSONAL APPROACH TO FINDING THE RIGHT GUITAR
Guitar Salon Vadya is an independent, appointment-based guitar salon in Škofljica, Slovenia, founded by professional concert guitarist and teacher Alen Garagić.
I created Guitar Salon Vadya for players who want more than specifications and product photographs. Choosing a guitar is a personal decision, and every player has different hands, musical goals, tonal preferences and expectations.
My purpose is to help you understand the differences between instruments and find the guitar that genuinely suits you.
CAREFULLY SELECTED INSTRUMENTS
Every guitar in the salon is personally evaluated for response, balance, projection, tonal character, playing comfort and overall quality.
The collection ranges from carefully selected student instruments to professional concert guitars by established and emerging makers. It includes traditional Spanish guitars, double-top and lattice-braced instruments, left-handed guitars and selected Vadya models developed for modern players.
A guitar is never selected only because of its maker, materials or specifications. Individual instruments made from similar materials can respond and sound very differently. The qualities of the actual guitar always matter most.
ALEN’S ASSESSMENT
My experience as a concert guitarist and teacher shapes the way I evaluate and present every instrument.
Performance videos are professionally recorded at Vadya Studio to present the character of each guitar as clearly and naturally as possible.
Product descriptions include my practical assessment, the type of player for whom I believe the guitar is most suitable and the important specifications needed to make an informed comparison.
Whenever possible, I provide photographs and a performance video of the exact available guitar. If photographs represent the model rather than the individual instrument, this is stated clearly on the product page.
PERSONAL ADVICE—WHEREVER YOU ARE
If you are uncertain which guitar is right for you, tell me about your current instrument, playing level, musical goals and approximate budget. I can recommend suitable options, compare instruments or arrange a personal video consultation.
You are also welcome to visit the salon by appointment and try selected guitars personally.
